How to register your number - for FREE!


Follow these easy steps to get started: 1. Go to Play Store or App Store and download Echochat. 2. Open Echochat on your phone and allow/accept the app permissions so that it can function fully. 3. Enter your mobile number including the international dialing code of your country e.g. South Africa: +27, UK: +44, Zimbabwe: +263, USA: +1. 4. Enter the referral code you were given by the person who referred you to EchoChat. If you don’t have a referral code, simply click the “send” button. 5. An SMS with a verification code will be sent to your mobile number. (IF YOU DON’T RECEIVE AN SMS, CONTACT SUPPORT BY CLICKING THE SUPPORT ICON IN THE BOTTOM RIGHT HAND CORNER OF THIS PAGE.) 6. Enter the 7-digit code to verify your number. 7. After your number is successfully verified, you can now start using EchoChat for all your communication needs.




How to top-up your EchoChat Account balance:


To top-up conveniently using your credit or debit card, follow the steps below: 1. Open EchoChat and click the chat icon on the toolbar at the bottom. 2. Then click the settings icon on the toolbar at the bottom of the chat page. 3. Under “Telecom Settings”, click “Top-Up”. 4. Select the amount you want to top-up with. 5. Click the continue button and enter your email address and your credit/debit card details 6. Then click the pay button. Your account will be credited immediately. Your balance is displayed on the top left of your screen so you can always see how much airtime you have. If you have any problems topping up your account, chat with support team on the EchoChat app or in the bottom right hand corner of this page.




Inviting Your Contacts to Join EchoChat:


In order to enjoy free messaging and calling, your family, friends and associates need to be on EchoChat as well, which is as easy as sending them an SMS with an invitation and link to download EchoChat. Copy and paste this link and share it via any media. https://www.echochat.io/share How to send an invitation from within EchoChat: 1. Open your EchoChat app and go to your "Chat" page. 2. Then click the settings icon. 3. Under “Chat Settings”, click the invite icon. 4. Your contact list will show up and you should select the person you want to invite to join EchoChat. 5. An invitation SMS will be automatically sent to the contact you selected (standard SMS rates apply). Finding your contacts, send them the link https://www.echochat.io/share To check they are on Echochat. In chat, click on new chat, you will then see your contacts, when still yellow circle, not on Echochat. When they are clear, they are Echochat users. Click on new user. If you click more then one you will create your group with your contacts on Echochat. When your contact joins EchoChat, you can start enjoying FREE EchoChat to EchoChat communication.

Renting a telephone number on EchoChat :


EchoChat makes it possible for you to rent a local number or rent one from another country. This is how you do it: 1. Open your Echochat app and click the chat icon on the tool bar. 2. Then click the settings icon. 3. Under “Telecom Settings”, click the rent icon. 4. Select the country you want to rent a number from. For example, you will select Brazil if you want to rent a Brazilian number. 5. Pick a number from the list provided and click next. 6. Click “Monthly” to rent the number on a monthly basis or click “Daily” if you want to rent the number on a daily basis. 7. Then choose the number of months or days you need to rent the number for and click “Rent Now”. 8. Confirm the rental terms and get your rented number. It's as easy as that! TO USE ON DIAL PAD CLICK YOUR NUMBER RH CORNER THE NUMBER WILL APPEAR, SELECT THE ONE YOU WANT TO MAKE CALL. BOTH NUMBERS ARE LIVE INCOMING AND OUTGOING *Please note that the rental charge will be deducted from your Echochat balance and you will not be able to rent a number if you have an insufficient balance. How to check your version of EchoChat:


Occasionaly, we may need to know what version of the EchoChat app you are using. here's how you find out: 1. Open your EchoChat app and go to your chat page. 2. Then click the settings icon. 3. Under “Telecom Settings”, click the information icon. 4. The build version of the app will be displayed at the bottom of the information page. If you have any problems, chat with support team on the EchoChat app or in the bottom right hand corner of this page.




How to record calls on EchoChat:


1. Open your EchoChat app and go to your chat page. 2. Then click the settings icon. 3. Under “Telecom Settings”, click the "Set Mode" icon. 4. Turn on recording mode and your calls will start being recorded. 5. After each call, you will receive a message in your chat with a link to the recording. Click on the link to listen to your recording or download it using your browser’s settings.




How to Create an EchoChat Group:


To start a group on Echochat, follow these steps: 1. Open your EchoChat app and click the chat icon on the toolbar. 2. Then click the icon labelled “Settings” on the toolbar. 3. In Settings, click on Invive and a list of your contacts will appear, select more than one contact to create a group. 5. Tap the camera icon if you want to add a picture. 6. Type in the name of your group and click the plus sign on the top right to create the group. THEN YOUR GROUP WILL APPEAR IN THE SETTING UNDER GROUPS. WHEN IN YOUR GROUP CLICK THE GROUP ICON INVITE MORE FRIENDS FROM YOUR CONTACTS, IF THEY ARE NOT IN YOUR CONTACT SEND THEM INVITE LINK https://www.echochat.io/share




How to Add Members to Your Group:


To add in new members in your group, follow these steps: 1. Open your group you and click the “Group Chat” icon located directly under the name of your group 2. A menu list will appear on your screen, select “Invite” 3. Then select the contact/s you want to add to your group (please note that you can only add contacts that are on EchoChat) 4. Click the tick that is on the top right of your screen to update your group and save the changes you made




How to Remove Members from Your Group:


If you want to take someone out of your group, follow these steps: 1. Open your group and click the “Group Chat” icon located directly under the name of your group. 2. A menu list will appear on your screen, select “Invite” 3. You will see a panel that shows all the members of your group. 4. Then click the X sign on the contact you want to remove and click the tick on the top right to update your group. 5. A message will be sent to your group chat confirming that you have removed the person from the group.




How to view your EchoChat Statements:


EchoChat provides you with detailed statements that show you your call records and how much you spent. How to download your statement: 1. Open your EchoChat app and go to your chat page 2. Then click the settings icon on the toolbar at the bottom of the page 3. Under “Telecom Settings”, click the statement icon 4. Select the length of the statement (1 month/ 3 months/ 6 months) 5. The link to your statement will be sent to your chat inbox 6. Click on the link to view your statement 7. Download or print your statement using your browser settings With EchoChat, you're never left wondering where your airtime went. How to contact EchoChat Support:


To contact Echochat Support, follow these steps: 1. Open your EchoChat app and click the chat icon on the toolbar. 2. Then click the icon labelled “Settings” on the toolbar. 3. In Settings, click on Support. 5. Type in your message, which will be answered by the EchoChat Support team. If you have any problems with the EchoChat support chat, you can also contact support in the bottom right hand corner of this page.




Accessing Your BlockKoin App on EchoChat:


EchoChat has a built-in shortcut that allows you quick and seamless access into your BlockKoin app without having to leave EchoChat. This means that you can conveniently use two apps on one platform. How to link to your BlockKoin app: 1. Open Echochat and click the BlockKoin icon on the tool bar at the bottom of the launch page 2. You will be automatically directed to your BlockKoin app (you can download the BlockKoin app for free on Play Store or App Store if you do not already have it on your phone) 3. Enter your login details to access your BlockKoin account 4. Simply use the back arrow to return to Echochat when you need to talk to your contacts
