We don’t store your data!

Why would we?

All you need to set up on EchoChat is your mobile phone number obviously, an image if you want one so friends know it’s you when you call or message them and a buddy name for Chat, again, any name or word you want. Nothing else, no email address or anything else.

We’ll never store any of your data for a moment longer than is necessary for one simple reason. It’s yours!

As soon as any encrypted message, photo, film or document you send reaches the other persons phone its ready to be wiped from our servers. In fact, all messages on our servers are wiped clean of anything you send every single minute or every single day. So nobody else will ever get to see them, including us.

They’re your private messages and at EchoChat that’s what matters most. They stay private.

Automatic EchoChat Security.

How You Ask?

Whatever you send on EchoChat is designed to only ever be seen by you and the person you are sending it to. Not by us, or anyone else. Ever!

Your message are secured, locked and encrypted on route using https protocol. They are also secured using AES 256 encryption until the moment the person you sent to views using their own smart phones self-generating key to unlock them.

Then, if that wasn’t secure enough, each and every encrypted message you send is automatically wiped from our servers forever, every single minute. Which means that nobody will ever see or store your messages. And, if for some reason a message you send isn’t read, it stays encrypted for 30 days and then is wiped from our servers forever. Another unique EchoChat fact.

So, come on then, let the secure sharing commence!

So, what does that mean?

Breaking a symmetric 256-bit key by brute force requires 2128 times more computational power than a 128-bit key. Fifty supercomputers that could check a billion, billion (1018) AES keys per second. And, if such a device could ever be made, it would, in theory, require about 3x1051 years to exhaust the 256-bit key space.

So, to even try and get in you would need to get hold of a little Mars made computer from 2099 and spend the rest of eternity doing it. Give or take the odd one hundred million years or so.

Well, that’s that sorted then!

PSST. It’s secure to talk too!

All calls or video calls on EchoChat are as safe and secure as any other call you could make. All have the same high standards of security any Telcom or Internet call can have.

Whether its EchoChat to EchoChat, or EchoChat to any other Network anywhere in the world, whatever you say or hear stays between you and the person you are talking to.

Which is good to hear and another great fact.
